De Phyllostachys Bissettii krijgt groene stammen.

Het is een bamboe soort die groeit in een bos, daarom kan hij ook prima als haagplant gebruikt worden.

Het is een woekerend soort, wij raden daarom ook aan om een wortel begrenzing te gebruiken.

Watering

Deze plant dient regelmatig water te krijgen. Tijdens zonnige periodes raden wij aan elke dag water te geven. Tijdens minder zonnige periodes raden wij 1 maal per 3 dagen aan, tenzij het heeft geregend.

Placement

Deze plant dient geplaatst te worden op een plek waar de zon veel schijnt. Hoe meer zon, hoe sneller de groei, maar ook hoe meer vocht hij nodig heeft. Ook kan de Phyllostachys Bissettii in de schaduw geplaatst worden, alleen groeit hij dan wel wat minder snel.

Nutrition

Voeding is erg belangrijk voor planten. Wij raden aan deze plant van een goede voedingsbodem te voorzien d.m.v. het gebruik van hoogwaardige mediterraanse voedingsgrond. Ook raden wij aan te zorgen voor extra voedingsstoffen, door het bacterieel activeren van de bodem met behulp van onze voedingstabletten. Dit zorgt voor de voorziening van alle nodige voedingsstoffen. De plant zal sterker worden en mooi blijven.

Cutting

Het snoeien van een bamboo is simpel. Wanneer een blad dor begint te worden, dient de redelijk dikke tak ervan vlakbij de stam afgeknipt te worden met bijv. een snoeischaar. De palm krijgt elk jaar weer nieuwe scheuten die uitgroeien tot grote waaierbladen.

Our plant sizes are determined by measuring the smallest plants up until the largest in a field with hundreds of plants. Because a plant is a natural product, it's possible a plant is a little smaller than the mentioned minimum size.

This deviation is 10cm maximum. In our guidelines we keep a margin of max. 10cm regarding the minimum size.

Note: when you order a plant that doesn't stay green in the winter, it's probably (when ordered during the winter months or the beginning spring season) smaller than the minimum size. This is not a problem in any case, because the plant will grow new branches or leaves and the minimum height will be reached within a short period. Your order will have the right size within a short time.

Special transport is required for larger/heavier plants or objects. This transport costs 29,95 (free for orders above 300). The benefit of this transport is that more products can be selected without getting additional transport costs. The delivery time of this transport type usually is within 1 workday. Howiever, it can take 1 or more days in some cases. If you're not at home when the driver arrives, the order will be placed in front of your door.
