The hystrix palm is a great hardy, multistemmed, multi-stem palm tree that does very well in wetlands and in marshy areas.
It grows in a kind of palm forest and is super hardy to -20 degrees.
The Rhapidophyllum also remains fairly small, as it does not grow taller than 3 metres.
The hystrix palm is native to Florida and also grows in other areas of the US.
