The Fatsia japonica comes from Japan, and is known as the finger plant, because the large leaves look a little like hands.
The Fatsia japonica, when flowering, produces round white flowers. The flowering period is around October / November. After flowering, it produces round black fruits. This plant, which grows quite quickly, is a bit frost-resistant. It should be kept indoors at temperatures below -10 or at least protected. The root ball should always be slightly moist.
It is a beautiful tropical plant species that can stand well with protection in the garden.
