The Buxus hedge (Buxus sempervirens) is a widely used, slow growing hedge plant. The Buxus hedge grows with light green shoots that slowly turn to dark green.

Boxwood, palm or the palm tree is a beloved plant because it is so strong and beautiful evergreen. The plants do like sufficient nutrients and lime.
Boxwood sempervirens can be cut well, ideal for low hedges and pruning figures.
These twigs used to be used at Palm Sunday / Easter, hence the name palm tree.
